On the path to growth
The ambitious investment program of Kremsmueller is reflected in the photograph of the company headquarters.
The company headquarters of Kremsmueller is hardly recognisable any more. There are numerous new buildings that are shaping the company premises in the Upper Austrian town of Steinhaus near Wels. A new biomass heating system has already been commissioned at the beginning of the winter. The plant construction company is thus placing its trust in the eco-friendly heating energy from its own resources.
The new production shop of the apparatus and tank building division is unequalled in all of Austria. Ultra-modern and ergonomically equipped, it has already started to pay for itself in in its initial projects. Two columns that will jointly take it to more than 70 metres are already in place. With a height of more than 18 m, the hall, with an area of 2,500 m², has sufficient room for challenging projects.
The other divisions were significantly expanded as well in 2009: Pipeline construction now has more than 1,900 m² shop floor halls for equipment, stores and pre-fabrication. Kremsmueller has also expanded the workshop for electrical and I&C engineering. Switch cabinet manufacturing now has 200 sq. metres of additional space for production, stores and archives. There is also additional investment in engineering capacities: there is a new 4-floor office building coming up at the location.
And the giant steps continue relentlessly in 2010: the central stores in Steinhaus will have enough space for tools and equipment. A modern logistics concept will be able to satisfy the tough requirements of large projects in power plant construction.
