Instrumentation and control, pipeline and tank construction or even software for industrial plants in all sectors – that is the core business of the Kremsmueller Group. And visitors were able to get a perspective of how much research work goes into it at the ‘Long Night of Research’ held Austria-wide.

At Kremsmueller that evening, the spotlight was on the production facility, 10,000m² in area. Apart from switch cabinet manufacture and service station technology, the guests had to opportunity to get an up-close look at the state-of-the-art tank and apparatus construction plants.

The machinery was developed in close cooperation with the manufacturers and adapted entirely to the stringent requirements of the current projects. There were many in-house developments as well, because after all, inputs from more than 50 years of experience in plant construction were indispensable, for example, for the construction of the plate bending machine, the welding cranes or even the longitudinal and circumferential seam milling machines. 

The spectacular components for the Kaunertal hydro-electric power station are proof of the positive result of the synergy of experience and innovative spirit. They bear witness to the know-how that has been garnered in processing progressive materials such as high-strength steels.
