Kremsmueller Romania was honoured at the end of 2009 with a prize for being the number one plant manufacturer in the district of Prahova. This is the region in which almost the entire crude oil business of Romania is concentrated. The usual business figures were not the only decisive factors in awarding the prize; a number of government agencies judged Kremsmueller Romania to be the ideal pupil in the Romanian economic landscape. In a recently published newspaper article, Rudolf Fink, the CEO of Kremsmueller Romania, explained: "We have come to Romania with the intention of staying." This philosophy is clearly in stark contrast to the principle followed by many foreign investors of only running temporary branches in Romania.

 

Three years ago, Kremsmueller Romania started operations in a small office in Bucarest. Since then, our premises in Ploiesti cover about 90,000 m². home to 1,800 m² of office area and not less than 3,000 m² of workshops. Kremsmueller Romania currently employs a workforce of 450. The experts in switch cabinet building, instrumentation and control as well as pipeline construction are also considered among the best in the business country-wide. In the national rankings, Kremsmueller achieved an outstanding third rank.
