Due to newer technologies, the old mast had reached its static load capacity and a new operator was added to the new mast at the same time. For this purpose, a helicopter with a maximum load capacity of 1400 kilograms was used to first dismantle the upper mast section and lay it on the ground, then install the new, additional mast section and finally replace the upper, old mast section.
The weather was perfect, so that the helicopter pilot was able to accurately attach the additional mast section, which weighed over 1050 kilograms and was 7.5 meters long and 1.3 meters wide.

All under the meticulous guidance of the Kremsmueller fitters, who were responsible for loosening the screw connections of the mast segment, attaching, instructing and placing the new and old mast segment by helicopter and re-establishing all the screw connections.

For this contract, Kremsmueller was responsible for obtaining quotations and commissioning the production of the mast section, planning and coordinating the helicopter deployment, the inspection with the landowner and coordination with the additional cell phone mast operator.
