With Kremsmueller in virtual reality

How do you impart the idea of quality work up close? That is what the company has been trying to tackle since the beginning of this year.

To show trade fair visitors a realistic picture of which large projects Kremsmueller executes, and how it does so, is not easy to realise. It is precisely for this reason that the marketing team has focused on the theme of Virtual Reality since the beginning of 2015.

Exactly on time for the start of the Achema in Frankfurt, the equipment was finally ready for practical testing. At three Oculus-Rift stations, there were numerous options available to get immersed in the fascinating world of Kremsmueller.

Visitors were able to watch up close how the shift reactor was assembled in the workshop at Steinhaus. Or even how one of the pipeline branches of the Kaunertal project was installed deep in a mountain.

It was thus possible to reproduce unique moments in the day-to-day life of the project in a manner that left a lasting impression. This was also confirmed by the tremendous hype around the VR stations – they were a real highlight at the Kremsmueller fair stand – and probably even in the entire fair. These VR glasses will be available commercially only from the middle of 2016.
