The remote data management system consists of not only the operating and monitoring unit in the branches, but also a central acquisition and recording of all the energy consumption values like water, electricity, gas, heating and air conditioning. The control of time-triggered and need-triggered load circuits is also included.

Apart from all the recording, the system also allows comparative analyses between the branches. The I&C department team Schwechat designed the visualisations and graphic depictions of all the values in a clear and user-friendly format. Some of the existing electrical installations in the various branches were widely different in nature and equalising all of them was one of the key tasks for the success of this Austria-wide project.

The remote data management project was contracted in view of the Energy Efficiency Act that has come into force from 2015. With this technologically progressive solution, the customer will save significant administrative effort, and the concomitant costs.
