High-Tech in Plant Construction

Industrial plant manufacturer Kremsmüller is experiencing a dramatic development towards increased technology and special materials.

Massive investments in the past eight years were, and still are, a clear commitment to the location of the Kremsmüller headquarters in Steinhaus. Production was expanded to a total of 10,000m² and state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery was purchased. A decision that was made at the right time because it was precisely in the sluggish years of the recession that the technological areas of apparatus engineering, electrical engineering together with instrumentation and control technology developed into the Kremsmüller spearhead.

The company thus adapted to market requirements. In the wake of this, a number of major changes had to be made last year ? back to the roots was the motto.

Since its foundation in 1961, the company has steadily grown and its portfolio has diversified. Now, however, the company is again focusing primarily on its original core competencies in industrial plant engineering.

“The order books in apparatus engineering are overflowing. However, the projects can no longer be compared to those of 20 or 30 years ago. High-tech equipment and exotic materials such as titanium are now in great demand. In addition, we are increasingly immersing ourselves in the realm of technology. Instead of being merely a precision manufacturer in apparatus engineering, we are now also developing process engineering for several technologies. This sector is also converging more and more with our automation technology. We see great potential here for exciting innovations,” explains proprietor and co-managing director Gregor Kremsmüller.
