Giant steps in Romania
Kremsmueller Romania is to become the flagship of the Kremsmueller support sites.
In Ploiesti, to the north of Bucarest, is where the 8-hectare-factory campus of Kremsmueller Romania sprawls. In 2008, two new factory workshops were built here for prefabrication and warehousing. A total of 2,800 m² are now available for switch cabinet manufacturing, I&C engineering as well as for the pipeline construction division.
In just a short time, Kremsmueller has evolved into a significant presence in the Romanian plant construction and engineering sector. In future, all product areas for all the industrial sectors will be offered through this subsidiary. To be equipped to do this, the offices are now also being expanded to about 100 workplaces. The construction of a new building with recreation rooms and lecture rooms is also planned. A branch of the Karl Kremsmueller Welding Academy is to be built here.
