10 years of the Welding Academy

10 years of optimum training

The Karl Kremsmüller Welding Academy has very successfully placed its emphasis on practical training as well as advanced training of welders. Many companies from the Wels region use the individualised training offering from the house of Kremsmueller. Over the last 10 years, the academy can point with pride to more than 2500 graduates.

Precisely in times when normative upheavals are to take place, such as the coming into force of EN 1090, and the factory-internal production inspection in steel and aluminium construction from 1 July 2014, Kremsmueller has stepped up to the aid of the sector with its offering of qualifying welders suitably. The company’s in-house materials testing department offers courses for visual inspection, in addition to those prescribed by the EN 1090.

As a partner of the BFI Upper Austria and other renowned employment foundations, Kremsmueller is taking efficient measures in the area of adult training. It goes without saying that there is a constant adaptation of the training offering to the requirements of the market.

Apart from the classic methods like acetylene welding and manual metal arc welding, all the inert gas methods like MAG, MIG or TIG are also taught. The Karl Kremsmueller Welding Academy is outfitted exclusively with state-of-the-art equipment.
