Kremsmueller invests in Schwechat

The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony on June 23, 2025 marked the official start of the construction of a new hall at Kremsmüller’s Schwechat site. With this forward-looking investment, the company is specifically strengthening its infrastructure in the areas of training, technology and logistics.

The existing infrastructure at the Schwechat site has reached its limits over the years – both spatially and technically. Kremsmueller is responding to this development with the new hall construction and is creating a modern, efficient building that will combine several central functions in the future.

The new building will house, among other things:

  • a modern vehicle and large vehicle workshop
  • spacious storage areas for construction site equipment
  • a top-equipped welding academy
  • new technical and theoretical training rooms for apprentices and specialist staff

The new hall will take Kremsmüller to a new level in several areas – both in terms of technical equipment and training expertise. This will create the best conditions for the requirements of tomorrow.

Timetable and implementation

The construction phase is scheduled to run from the end of June 2025 to August 2026. Operations in the new hall are to start immediately afterwards.

Employees at the Schwechat site were also invited to the ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of the construction project. The company’s own Kremserl Kitchen food trailer provided culinary refreshments with freshly prepared dishes. Colleagues were able to find out more about the construction project and celebrate the start of a new era together with the project team.

Conclusion
With the new building, Kremsmueller is not only creating space, but also prospects – for modern technology, future-oriented training and efficient work.
