Pressure vessels / Special apparatuses

High-pressure apparatuses of carbon steel alloy. Pressure vessels made of CrNi steels for corrosive processes. Welding constructions weighing tonnes for very high loads. All this with unexampled precision, made possible by one of the most modern machine parks in Europe. Spatially strictly separated, we work the very latest materials from plant construction. For CrNi and Nibas steels, one of the biggest pickling plants in Austria takes care of the perfect finish. The high quality is assured by our certifications and the in-house NDT department with state-of-the-art testing equipment.

Perfect support and complete solutions for your process. Our engineering seamlessly joins the basic engineering of the process provider and the customer. Consultancy, development, analytical and FE stress calculations, heat technology designs, detail engineering and welding technology are carried out directly by our technology sections.

Heat accumulators

Heat and electricity are generated according to the principle of combined heat and power. A heat accumulator allows the de-coupling over time of the heat and electricity production, in that the “excessive” production of heat energy is temporarily stored practically without any loss over several days. The heat accumulator thus optimises the operation of a power plant and allows flexibility in the changing conditions of the power market.

Special welding parts

Renowned for high quality, extensive know-how and ultra-modern technical equipment in the area of welding, Kremsmueller is also excellently organised for manufacturing special welded parts.

Welded parts made of special materials do not present any problem whatever, and neither do complex geometries, high wall thicknesses or warpage-endangered parts. Special welding methods, technological heat treatments, special position manipulators, plating technology and additional machining are offered.
