High Accolade
Karl Strauß, Chief Operating Officer of the Kremsmueller Group, receives the silver Medal of Honour of the State of Upper Austria.
The award was ceremonially conferred in the Stone Hall of the State House of Linz. Governor Josef Puehringer was generous in his praise of Kremsmueller: "2,800 employees at work – that is a truly remarkable expansion rate. In recent years, the number of standards that Kremsmueller has set is hardly matched by any other company. Such impressive ideas like the founding of a Welding Academy all have one goal: the sustainable securing of our jobs. For us, that deserves one of the highest awards."
Karl Strauß emphasised that he was accepting the award on behalf of the entire management team and all the employees of Kremsmueller. "To head a company in which the conditions could hardly be better is just so much fun", he said.
