Electrical engineering for gourmets

The I&C division executed a project for the expansion of an organic farm. Our apprentices built the distributors for the new cheese dairy.

An I&C project in Lichtenegg in the Bucklige Welt region in Lower Austria dealt with a totally unusual domain. A goat farm located there expanded its operations with an organic cheese dairy and was looking for a distributor fabricator. Kremsmueller was recommended as being a good, reliable partner for switch cabinet fabrication.

The planning was done in close cooperation with the customer. Kremsmueller supplied suitable, standards-conformant solutions for all the requirements. Finally, the fabrication was carried out by eight apprentices in the I&C workshops. An energy distributor and three I&C distributors were built for the automation. This is because innumerable measurements are required for the different milk products like cheese and yoghurt. Apart from the planning of the project and the fabrication of the distributor cabinets, Kremsmueller was also responsible for the inspection of the entire plant. Through a first-instance inspection, one part was commissioned even before completion of the fabrication. The final inspection, in which all the installations were examined for standards-conformant and problem-free construction, proceeded without any glitches.
