Kremsmüller is constantly undertaking exciting projects throughout Europe in the fields of warehouse and material handling technology. Recently, operations began on the installation of new material handling systems in a large distribution centre in central Switzerland, and it is expected that these will take more than one year in total to complete. In the process, 4-5 km of material handling systems are being installed for pallets. Five floors will be connected by large lifts, each able to transport two pallets, with an individual weight of 1.5 tons, to a height of 20 metres.

While the existing facilities undergo refurbishment, the customer is also constructing a new high-bay warehouse. Here, too, we are installing the entire material handling systems, including additional large pallet lifts. As these lifts are more than 20 metres in height and delivered in one piece, it is particularly challenging to install them, but our specialists have proved themselves masters of the situation, demonstrating a great deal of flexibility and know-how.
