In action for the water preparation plant in the new polar bear enclosure in Schoenbrunn Zoo

At the construction sites at which Kremsmueller staff are in action every day, there are often interesting, out-of-the-ordinary settings. The construction of the sweet water and salt water preparation plant in the new polar bear enclosure in Schoenbrunn Zoo was one such site, where, too, the customer placed his trust in the quality work of Kremsmueller employees.

From certified welders to steel structure fitters to machine construction or I&C engineers – Kremsmueller staff have decades of experience in the projects business. They guarantee quality and precision work. Refresher courses and continuing education ensure a professional qualification level.

There have been polar bears present for viewing in the oldest zoo in the world from as early as 1799. The new sweet water and salt water pools of these natives of the Arctic, Lynn and Ranzo, now cover an area of 1,700 square metres. After the renovation, the polar bear enclosure is three times bigger than before. The polar bears can now enjoy bathing and diving in pools of different depths.
